With the Branches working as closely as we do currently, moving forward would you correct a Soldier, Sailor, Airmen or Marine if they were not in compliance with a uniform regulation from their perspective branch? Being a member of a different Branch ie a Sailor correcting an Airmen! whats your take RF community!

<p>SSG Saunders:</p><p><br></p><p>Respectfully, due to the culture and the group dynamics and code of each service and each sub group, I would say no. There is a difference in mentoring, providing guidance, and developing a relationship before someone even listened to you. </p><p><br></p><p>I say this out of experience working with joint forces and being stationed abroad. There is a fine line in violating one's sacred ground and you cannot recover from it.</p>

For example, I remember being a WO1, and we had a fellow Warrant Officer abruptly ask the CW5 where was his deployment patch?
The CW5 ate his lunch; he was a Vietnam Veteran and transitioned from the Marines and unfortunately the Warrant Officer did not know his background.
The lessons learned is in general one has to be mindful of sacred ground.
