Effective immediately, the Coast Guard will fund 75 percent of tuition costs up to $187.50 per credit hour, with a $2,250 cap, through Sept. 30, 2014. Coast Guardsmen will be responsible for any costs beyond those limits.
Thoughts?
SFC Gannon, hmmmmmmmmmmmm
I would probably agree to the extent that the Recruiter told us what the current benefits were at the time and maybe they alluded that those benefits would stay the same.
So probably sin of ommission - not telling us the whole story. I can't say that they specifically told me that I would get free medical/dental for me and my family for life or any other benefit like that.
Of course now, there is that statement in the contract that asks if anything else has been promised to you that is not included in the contract and I'm pretty sure we all signed that stating "NO" - which is our confirmation that what was only in the contract was what we were promised.
