I never really considered them as celebrities, but instead, as "Brothers in Arms".

I don't know much about celebrities, but I think more veterans should find their way to Hollywood, and D.C. perhaps we could change the direction of our nation.

You know i have a few bad asses that usually get overlooked lee marvin who served in battle of saipan and was gunned down by machine gun fire .but the real bad ass would have to be charles durning, alot of people might remember him from best little whore house in Texas where he played the governor or NCIS where he played a medal of Honor recipient named cpl ernie yost, but he actually served in the army as a PFC and was in first wave of Omaha beach landing and made it through only to be wounded later and captured at battle of the bulge and escape narrowly becoming one of the soldiers massacred by the Waffen SS. The man was awarded several medals including sliver star ,bronze star, purple heart and several others and you would never know how much of a bad ass he was from his roles on tv and movies.

They say he could roundhouse kick so quickly the air got out of his way and he became airborne greatly increasing the amount of area he could patrol! This is why they called him an "Air Policeman"

Sterling Hayden would surely make that list. He served as an OSS agent in WWII.
