My PEBLO said the VA has to release my exams to be able to do the NARSUM. How much longer should my medboard process be so i can start outprocess?

The NARSUM is a summary of your condition. It is the first of may steps in the IDES process. Your NARSUM will be submitted to the MED where medical review will determine if you are fit to continue military service. The total proess will take at least 180 days per Army Directive 2021-05 (but there are multiple factors that influence the timeline) see
https://armypubs.army.mil/epubs/DR_pubs/DR_a/ARN31950-ARMY_DIR_2021-05-000-WEB-1.pdf
also reference AR 635-40. Your PEBLO is managing/tracking your case and will let you know. If you don't appeal it could be 6 months, if you do appeal(s) could be closer to a year.
*Timeline is not current on this chart, but steps are the same.

You have to have orders before you can out process. When the system decides they can do no more healing for you, then and only then will they see about discharge orders.

The whole process takes about six months. The VA portion takes as long as it takes for the VA to do their thing. There is no specific time.

MAJ Ken Landgren we'll be diving in the Adriatic just outside Italy. I dove in Okinawa before as well, and I absolutely loved it!

MAJ Ken Landgren lol I'm sorry. I started at Lewis, and I got Eglin AFB in Florida, Okinawa, and now Italy. But I also had Stewart and Bragg in there as well. Bragg wasn't bad, but Stewart was just horrible.
