What is the expected timeframe on when I should expect money for selling my leave days?

Re/enlisted mid October submitted contract and 3340 to finance on 20Oct. LES reflected leave days sold and amount owed to me 25Oct. EOM pay hit today and the money hasn't hit yet, just confused on when the funds would be processed to me. Should I go back to finance or should I wait until after mid month LES comes out and see what happens.

Processing sold leave usually takes 2-4 weeks.
I assume you saw it show up under the 'remarks' and not 'entitlements' on your LES. I would give it to the mid-month if you saw that it was processed but not added to your entitlements.

SGT (Join to see) - I think I might have misunderstood your comment in the post. You won't get paid for October's end of month payment until 1 NOV. You can check out the actual pay dates on DFAS*.
If your leave is showing up as sold under your entitlements (usually LUMP SUM LEAVE) the it is processed and will be paid on the 1st with the rest of the money you're due.
If you have an amount across from CR FWR, that is the amount of unpaid pay and allowances that will be carried forward to the next LES. The amount that is carried forward will appear on your November LES as "Amt Fwd".
For whatever reason (you'll have to check with DFAS if you're really dying to know), the money won't be added to your October EOM deposit and it will be added to your November total amount.

COL Randall C. Ahhh okay sir, so basically the “Amt Fwd” tends to be paid mid month not EOM, I understand now.

SGT (Join to see) - The "Amt Fwd" is added to your total amount for next month (i.e., Entitlements + Amount Forward - Total Deductions). If there is nothing else affecting it, then half of that "Net Amount" is deposited mid-month and the rest at the end of month.

Selling leave days can be a bit of a waiting game sometimes. In my experience, it usually takes a couple of pay cycles for the money to hit your account after you see it on your LES. I'd say give it until after the mid-month LES, and if you still don't see the funds, then maybe check with finance.

It came mid month, lucky for me I submitted everything within a week of eachother and it only took an EOM and a mid month to get to me.
