thermos will keep your coffee hotter for longer periods of time.. bottles get thrown away and even the BPA free ones will eventually break down

I've seen numerous sources that BPA 'free' plastic bottles use other chemicals that are just as bad as BPA. I would do some research if you decide to go that route.

That's the reason I wrote BPA "free." Many products are only tested for BPA on outer layers. However, plastic breaks down with heat, and BPA could still be present within those products.
