I think this started out as a fun Halloween thing, blew up into a couple ok B rated movies (some are ok...but get real....they are MOVIES), then started taking a life of its own. It is REALLY funny to listen to some of the fanatics....they are buying up all the ammo and stockpiling it like crazy. They are convinced it is a tool of the government, but that zombies will do all the damage.

Ahh, you reminded me of my favorite line by the guy who had been killed. then reanimated and was chasing his former girlfriend in one of the sequels for The Night of the Living Dead: "If you really love me, you'll let me eat your brains."

I worked for a Col that used to go around introducing his wife as his "present wife" which was kind of a joke, but he did it all the time. And every time he'd introduce her to someone, she'd get embarrassed and come back with "Your ONLY wife!!!" He always kept her guessing and working harder to maintain that status.

Because I can't stop researching anything, I've discovered we are actually very close to both a "chocolate" and a "wine" shortage on a Global level. We will run out of those before we run out of Oil.
As Coffee is "similar" to both items... and I've seen the calming effects of having a fresh brewed pot of coffee during a Field Day Inspection... I have to lean towards that.

Pvt Snuffy Told to clean out the Storage containers in an area that is devoid of all human life for the past 60 years and Stumbles upon a container that says "DO NOT OPEN" Without any adult supervision in the surrounding area.... same said Pvt Snuffy... Does what all Good Pvt Snuffies do and Opens it... Voila! Zombie Apocalypse!
