Recipe:
FOR CHICKEN
2 Pounds of Chicken Breast
2 qts of chicken stock
3 cloves of Garlic Smashed
2 bay leaves
3 tablespoons Soul Seasoning
Oil
FOR BBQ SAUCE
2 cups Ketchup
½ cup apple cider vinegar
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon worchestire
3 tablespoons soul seasoning
¼ c yellow mustard
¼ c hot sauce
1 charred onion
Preheat the oven to 350. In a medium sized oven safe sautee pan, begin to heat the oil on medium heat. Season the chicken thoroughly with the soul seasoning.
Once the pan is hot, sear the chicken until it begins to brown.
Add stock until covered as well as the bay leaves and smashed garlic cloves. Cover the pan with an oven safe lid or aluminum foil and place in the oven. Cook for approximately one hour, or until tender- depending on size of breast.
While the Chicken is cooking, make the BBQ sauce: add all the ingredients to the blender and puree until smooth.
When the chicken is tender, remove from the liquid and shred. Discard the liquid and toss the pulled chicken in the BBQ sauce. Enjoy!

Beans and Franks (not a restaurant name) were my favorite C-Rations for a year in VN. Lots of protein and I ended up losing some 30 pounds which was good because I became a smaller target for Charlie to hit!
