We in the Air Force have the best cookies! Oh wait, that is the girl scouts, Nevermind.
But we move most of the equipment around and have some pretty nice equipment to get our soldiers from place to place.
Let me begin by saying that I was a 19D Cavalry Scout for the first 17 years of my time in the Army. Since then, I have been part of the MI Corps.
Sustain: The technical expertise across the board. We have some of the smartest personnel on the planet within the Army MI Corps.
Improve: Day-in and Day-out leadership of Soldiers. I may take a hit on this, but this is my opinion and I believe that I am entitled to it. The MI Corps as a whole can do better with regards to how it leads its Soldiers day in and day out. The Corps as a whole does not have the emphasis on traditional leadership roles as you move up within the ranks. What I mean by that is that you may have an analyst or a HUMINTer or CI Agent who has never been part of a squad or have never been in charge of Soldiers. They, as a whole, at times do not understand how to engage or how to fix some of the problems that Soldiers have that in other MOSs, maybe combat arms, comes as second hand. We need to work on that to improve the MI Corps as a whole.
