Is this the beginning of our work undone or is this natural order of things in this region? Are the two one and the same? I will never take my eye or heart off of this region of the world. I know many of you feel the same.

Is ISIS better for stability than Al-Maliki?

I agree with it being the natural order of things, but at the same time, ISIS strives to undo what we have done. With everything we did to help, only to withdraw, and see it all crumble with more rising extremism, those who had knowledge on the middle eastern culture knew it would happen after we left, you cant change something that has been happening for thousands of years without extreme force (Nukes). And nobody wants that

I agree that it is probably the natural order of things. It is just disturbing to me because we lost 4486 Brothers and Sisters in OIF with another 32,223 injured. The region is just so fluid and loyalties change with the wind.
