Okay, so I know this sounds really crazy, but why not?

UPDATE: I found an article on microchiping and frankly it seems to have good uses and somewhat makes sense.

What if there was a simple way to micro chip....and once vetted, the chip can come out.

All refugee's will have to be finger printed, DNA put on file and micro chipped. Everyone will have to check in once every two weeks....either by signing in online or calling in to report their status and where about's. This way we can keep track of them and we can verify they are telling the truth when they check in.

No matter what country they are coming from.....and those coming here on VISA's of any kind....

This way, we have a file on them...we can monitor them

Yeah, yeah yeah....there are those that are going to say this is against their constitutional rights, but guess what?!?! They are not citizens, therefore they have not rights.

Anyway, let's hear it! What say your RP members?

Are we going to create a "slave" class now?

I understand the concept of "constitutional right" doesn't apply to non-citizen ... but must understand one last thing of our principle make us who we are, are we going to abandon it now for the sake of security? or we lost the true understanding of "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"?

Tread carefully ...some time, something cannot be undone, if you let it happen.

PO3 (Join to see) no, not a slave class...it's just temporary till they can be vetted. Did you read the article and the thoughts behind chipping. As long as obama insists on bringing refugees and as long as they CAN NOT BE VETTED....it's a way of keeping track of them till they can be vetted.
With all of the technology today and especially with SNAP chat where you can send a message to someone and as soon as they read it, it disappears....It's a great tool for SECRECY...and all of the other things electronic....
This has nothing to do with Slaves...Slaves are people owned by people and told what they can do and not do. These folks can go on their merry way...they'll be put onto food stamps and living assistance....FROM OUR HARD EARNED MONEY....and they can go about their day doing what ever they want...go to school...find a job...build a business...what ever...they are not SLAVES. It is just a way to keep track of them till they can TRULY be VETTED....then once vetted the chip comes out.

When you start chipping people, eventually everyone will be chipped. Don't start on this path, or you find that you can't turn back at all.

Don't be blinded by my word of "SLAVES". Either we are who our founders envision we will be, or we will be destroying what we had right now for the sense of security. And our children will look back in history ... wondering what the hell are we thinking.

There is a fine line, when you start crossing it in a regular bases, you will be comfortable to cross into even deeper realm.

Oh my Lord that really does reek of 1984 and Big Brother. Straight out of a Science Fiction Nightmare. I am a techie and a geek but a firm believer that there are just some lines you shouldn't cross and this would be it. Dogs, Cats, Pets no problem. Human Beings, Big Problem. It is tempting but being German American it is exactly the same as the Tattoos on the Jews and the Gypsies. I'll Pass, NO THANK YOU.

SFC Joseph Weber not like animals...you refer to this because you think animals are the only things being chipped, but parents are chipping their kids...especially younger ones.
What is your brilliant idea to VET or keep track of refugees?

SGM Mikel Dawson it'll be like those who are out on probation where the Judge puts a leg/ankle monitor on them. Once removed, it sends a signal and the authorities knows.

I'm definitely against the idea. Sure, my fingerprints and DNA are on file, because I served in the military and continue to hold a security clearance. BUT... making everyone do the same, or go as far as to require microchips? That sounds like something out of 1984 to me.

@TSgt Christopher Hicks.....Thanks so much for the DOWN VOTE! I simply asked what your thoughts are about this subject...and to answer your question...if it were my only choice and I had no where to go and it was the stipulation of that country that I get chipped, I sure the hell would do it. It's pretty simple.

PV2 Scott Goodpasture I don't think they would. I read an article a few months back that either it's already available or going to be available where parents can microchip their kids.

I do not agree with chipping mainly because I think it will be a gate way to put that into ordinary American citizens and search and seizure problems in reference to the U.S. Constitution. Those efforts and funds should be going towards vetting refuges who enter the US.
