So, I'm looking to reclass from my current MOS. Any recommendations of MOS's that I should look into?

SPC (Join to see) that was my recommendation for him because it's easier to reclass one CMF15 into another because I already know he already has the prerequisites for it.
For you, we'd have to know your scores, your TIS, TIG, promotable status, time on station, PULHES, OPAT score, and clearance level. Plus, what your idea of a good job is.

Aircrew life support equipment might be an interesting choice for you. Not sure of the Army MOS. They are the folks who maintain flight helmets, aircrew parachutes, survival kits, survival vests, and other specialized equipment. Probably not a large MOS but it’s an interesting and fairly clean job. Still close to the aircraft and the aircrew.

The Army has the parachute rigger MOS. I think that would be closest the MOS you just mentioned. Thank you for your input, sir.

If you’re interested in medical and are willing to study, 68C is a great step into nursing. From there, if nursing is a good fit, can decide what really interests you in that field.

SPC (Join to see) do you have a 107 GT and 101 ST score? 68C class seats don't come around very often, but there are a handful that come up a few times a year.

SFC (Join to see) my GT score is 111. I don't remember my ST score, but all my line scores are above 100, SFC.

SPC (Join to see) then once you hit SPC you can request 68C. Just don't let anyone tell you it's a shortcut to a nursing degree. Working as an LPN is valuable experience to see if you'd like to become an RN one day. People who aren't 68Cs will tell you all day that it leads to becoming an RN or that you can take an LPN to RN bridge program, or that your military training will save you some classes. The truth is that if you choose to become an RN you will have to take all of your classes to complete a BSN. Nursing schools do not accept transfer credit without a letter grade, or recommended ACE credit from JSST transcripts.

SFC (Join to see) thanks for the advice. I'll be promotable to SPC next month. I definitely appreciate the info. Thank you, SFC.
