Warnings have gone out that identifying oneself as military brings on the attention of the lone wolf terrorists.

Never been confronted but we are always on high alert, especially being stationed in Michigan. Very high immigrant communities with a significant mix of Eastern European, Southwest and Southeast Asian population. So far everyone we have come into contact here has been very friendly but we keep our guard up regardless.
