We all know there are some posts that we have read or posted and wondered why only three people voted or commented on it. Well here is the place to try to jump start them up again. What posts do you think should have received more attention? Be sure to include the link to the post.

Should a 2LT salute a 1LT? I'm just shocked that post has only received 606 responses. There are so many more un-discussed facets of that issue.
Oh come on. You KNEW someone was going to go there.

I don't know...I see what you're getting at, LTC (Join to see), but in the scheme of things, I think that distinction is a plus. Looking at it from an enlisted point of view, that would be like combining E-1 to E-4 and making the progression PVT, CPL, SGT (which I think they did in the old, old days) when in reality a PFC has a good deal more experience at being a Private than a PV1 does and a SPC (in theory) is an expert, but not necessarily a leader.
**edit- the last part being the reason for the creation of the SPC ranks

Honestly, in my humble opinion, I think they should do away with the last remaining specialist rank and focus more on developing PFCs for their next rank to be as a leader.
I noticed that too (the post thing) Probably a time zone thing...or the Y2K bug finally caught up with us (remember that?)

hmmm...still not convinced on the LT thing. Unless you are in the same company as a given LT, and actually know them, how would you distinguish?
i.e....any one of us can look at a 2LT and know he probably isn't an XO and probably could use a little help in places, just as you, as a Company Commander would likely look at a SGT and think "He's never lead a squad". Actually, revising my previous statement, it would be more like combining SGT and SSG. One is a junior leader and one isn't, and a simple glance at the collar (well, chest now) tells you which is which.
