Should the Obama Administration extradite Gulen back to Turkey?

It was interesting to learn that Mr Gulen seems to be that elusive Moderate Muslim everyone has searched for. Not backing him sure would go contrary to that.

SPC Kirk Gilles - Agreed. Meanwhile Erdogan is playing both sides with ISIS. Letting us use bases to launch airstrikes, while him and his son get a cut of ISIS oil crossing the Turkish border.

So tell me something please, was this question phrased in a politically neutral way or no?
I ask because I get hammered every time I type Obama or Adminstration etc. Both sides hit with both barrels.

What are going to do, kill our soldiers and start a war with United States? We must hold onto our principles. We don't give in to demands of nations because they say so. We have a process for extradition and must follow at all cost. Our troops can hold their own. We have plenty of troops in Germany that can respond if turkey does anything stupid.

Yes. Which led to the Turkish President demanding his arrest and return. Kerry responded by describing the process needed to respond to that request.

And I believe the process he stated involves Turkey actually proving that Gulen had something to do with inciting the overthrow of the democratic government, which is a little bit more than Erdogan just saying "give me back my enemy". At the point it becomes more a question of, do we harbor individuals who promote the military overthrow of foreign governments and at that point the answer probably starts shifting towards send him back.

I'm not making any commentary. Erdrogan demanded it today. Sec Kerry said he can submit the paperwork to extradite for review. So the WH, State, and Justice would have a say in it. Erdrogon blames Gulen for instigating the coup from his place in PA, USA.

SPC Kirk Gilles - Kerry is an idiot...and he's a liar just like Clinton is...like when she lied about landing under gunfire, he lied about his time in Vietnam...these people are caught red handed...but sweep it under the table as if it's nothing and go on...OKAY, I digress....Kerry should not even consider it....and besides, where is Erdrogon's proof? it' the first thing Kerry should have asked for instead of...well, okay gee, let me get the paperwork started.
