So we are all very aware of SHARP, hence the 300 hours or more of training a year. However, What do you personally feel should be the Army's number one priority at this present time?

Take the survey below: If the response you wish to select is not there, then by all means place it in a comment. I am really interested as to what the masses think about this subject.

With where the Army's focus lies right now, you would think we failed on two fronts in the war on terror because we had too many tattoos and not enough SHARP, EO, and resiliency training.

I think SHARP is important but we need to focus on being an effective fighting force.

A large problem we have in today's army is lack of expectations. No matter how much training we have, no expectations and no results. Sexually harass people and you are gone, period. Much of the problem we have is deciding what is a truthful accusation and what is not. Don't have sex with a female if she has had one drink, she cannot consent. Are our female soldiers really victims to that degree they cannot make their own decisions? No amount of training will solve this problem until we have it fully defined and as a father of a young lady, my daughter does not need to be labeled a victim because of her gender and that is a major problem we have today.

Great comment, MAJ Oyler! I also believe that we should harshly punish our senior leaders who violate this trust! Unfortunately, it appears to me that our senior leaders are mostly unethical and have fallen victim to being the Bad Boys Club although their are women GOs in that club, as well.

COL (Join to see) - Sir, I do not think our senior leaders are in so much unethical but playing the games necessary to promote and attain higher positions. The higher you go the more the emphasis is pleasing those above you than taking care of those below and getting the job done.

MAJ Oyler, isn't that kind of the same thing? When you turn a blind eye so you can promoted is the same as condoning the act. Senior leaders should be punished harsher as they should know best. Maybe I'm old fashioned but the GO corps of the past several years has been atrocious especially in the 3 and 4-star level. Where did all thsee unethical bastards come from (answer: West Point)?

Win wars...and tell politicians to go screw themselves when they intentionally want to hurt soldiers and veterans....that has been happening since 2008
