Ok let me explain better. I have friends that got QMP for to be up front one was for she got a 4,3 NCOER and it said she was not a good leader and pulled from the Squad Leader position but she does have bad PTSD and struggles on a daily bases but does do her job to the best of her ability had no problems till she arrived to this current duty station she even was D.A. selected for recruiter and she passed everything with flying colors had a report date had her house all packed up and her family and ready to go and 2 weeks before leaving she got a email saying her orders where cancel because of the NCOER it puzzled her she called the recruiter team and they told her it was because of the NCOER but she did not ask any further questions because she was upset she even ask her higher ups they all play dumb meanwhile this trigger her PTSD and she ended up having a really hard time she submit her packet to fight her QMP but had no one supporting her in her unit and she thought her career was over she got so many supporting letters and all her letters said how she was a great person and did a great job but she was fighting with PTSD. The sad part was we almost lost her do to this QMP yes that is how bad it got and she still does not know the outcome. I feel terrible for her and the unit does not care. That is why I feel there should be a different approach since she has been going to mental health since 2005 and had no problems really until this QMP situation.

I agree it sad thet say Soldier for or kife but thats bull, We making enemies out of our Soldiers. A Soldier over 15 can get TERA only if QSP not QMP. So up to 17 years in and your fucked out of a retirement and benefits and some ppl agree used the QMP but some of these guys sre buddy buddy with their Leaders, I work harder but he get the benefits.

The people who screw with the wrong Soldiers there day will come. I promise all of my friends who had this happen to them it will happen and I also advised all of my Soldiers to use the Whistle Blower line and make sure that the people who did them wrong for example that 1SG who yelled at one of my friends while they where in a mental hospital getting treatment hey. 1SG that is a major NO-NO and by the way the hospital staff has you recorded sir it just has not been reported yet you are not off the hook your day will come.

So true I had a female Cpt and 1SG (same company and same for screwing me over) in relations, I'm not about screwing ppl over but if i could've foreseen my Army life until now, Then I would've got their asses in trouble.

I will say this do wrong to others and it will come back to you. I have seen it in so many branches of the service and it is so sad the things. I see and I do believe that HRC really needs to look deep into higher ranking peoples records my friend has a very screwed up unit that needs to be investigated big time with a SGM, that was married to a 1SG there is a reason your divorce there is a reason your child is scared of you there is a reason your ex-wife was going to mental health herself because you SGM where treating her wrong just like you treat your SOLDIERS in the unit but nobody wants to speak up there all afraid to speak up. I told my friend the day she gets out to please speak up because there will be nothing he can do as his name needs to be on blast he is a SGM that needs a rude wake up call oh and if you wonder how. I know these things about the SGM its not hard to find out things with my job and 1SG you yourself need to watch out to. I believe strongly you do not deserve to see your next rank stop lying to Soldiers.

I absolutely agree, I think all considered should have their files reviewed prior and once the correct number of personnel is selected a notice stating an option to appeal should be sent. That's just my opinion but I saw a few good Soldiers just get denied and it is very disheartening

And the Army needs to watch out because there are some Soldiers they QMP that have PTSD and our struggling and the ARMY can be in some major trouble I have 2 friends who almost lost there lives due to this crazy QMP crap and that is what. I call it because its a bunch of crap that no one should have to deal for so many months in the real civilian world you do not deal with a punishment this long that is how it feels and its not right this needs to be re-looked at.

There is a presumption of regularity attached to all files in a solder's OMPF, this is why no review is done or will be done. However, yes, a soldier can undergo a Medboard after being selected for nonretention. If her PTSD is that sever she needs to pursue a MEB.
Also, the QMP board does not have acces to mental health records. The only way they could know the soldier is seeking mental health care is if it was somehow required. But that raises a slew of new issues regarding possible discrimination for those seeking mental health care.
