Should officer education be two tracks Operational (Tactics and Operations) and Enterprise (Corporate Management Skills)?

The U.S. military likes to stock its general and admiral ranks with its best operators the battle commanders, the fighter pilots, the ship captains.

I think it is a great idea to have two different tracks for Officer PME before and after you reach the general officer ranks. Operational experience doesn't always translate to enterprise (business) or institutional experience. We must continue to train to fight and win the nation's wars, but there must also be some business knowledge within the Army's ranks. This model would reinforce operational and enterprise experience.
I think this is also being tested in the NCO ranks as well; with there being more NCO broadening assignments announced in recent MILPER Messages.
What do you think??????

Sounds interesting to me, as long as a similar effort is made to spin up NCO's as well.
