It's been 20 years since Operation Storm which ended the war and resulted in an independent Croatia.

Can the events that transpired be forgiven or forgotten?

I was in Bosnia for Joint Guard/Forge and in Albania for the Kosovo conflict. The entire region, much like the Middle East, has too many fundamental and religious issues happening to ever get along with each other. We did what we could and as long as there is no more genocide we need to let them "work" (aka: fight) it out. IMO of course...
