wow, thank you for the honor. I would humbly like to bow out of the competition however. I only want to help people. Please vote for these other outstanding military personnel. I, being in the twilight of my career have a vast amount of military knowledge. these young troopers are in the beginning and are giving outstanding advise and making a difference. I currently deployed now and my time on the site in the last couple months has been minuscule. I will continue to help but no need for anything else but to know in my heart there are leaders out there of the caliber of these young NCOs in the formation. I know my military will carry on with these outstanding leaders ready to take the reins. thank you again.

What was/is the criteria you and the rest of team at RallyPoint are using MAJ Laurie H. ? While I'm honored and humbled to be named among some great people like CPT Brandon Christensen , CSM Michael Poll , GySgt (Join to see) , and SSG Joaquin Goicoechea I think if people knew how you came up with the nominees it would help for the voting.

SGT Ben Keen that is what we were trying to figure out in my post as well. This is the guidance as I read it posted in the initial thread
"folks that have gone above and beyond to improve the RallyPoint community through feedback and actions as a member administrator"
Seems like one of the criterion is to be a member administrator, the other part is not visible to the community (feedback). I just want to make sure that I am understanding the intent as well before I drop my vote. My mention of the Cadet in my post was not necessarily a vote for him but would have to be my vote if no further guidance is given as that is the best I can do as far as to what I have visibility of. Make sense?

Other than seeing content in the threads, we as users have little visibility on who helps improve based on feedback. I will have to think about this one and get back to you.

SSG Joaquin Goicoechea I hear you and see what you are saying. I am in no way trying to nominate myself and the LT you mention is not even an administrator which confuses me even more. I am sure we will receive some direction before long form LTC Yinon Weiss or MAJ Laurie H.

CPT Brandon Christensen
Sadly I was a 1 start admin, but lost it as I wasn't on as much as I used to be and haven't contributed as much as I used for the past month or so. Been swamped with civilian job as well as preparing my unit for XCTC lanes this coming May, along with NTC rotation the following year at Ft. Irwin. Just like many of you, I am shocked I was on the nomination list. Like LT Deitemeyer mentioned, most of my contributions have been behind the scene helping with feedback and suggestions as I have a degree in web design and interactive media.

Given your credentials CPT Brandon Christensen there is no doubt that you have been an invaluable asset to the team, but that proves my point. We as a community have no way of knowing that, and unless we know you directly and talk to you then we have no way of knowing what you have done. I am not saying that you don't deserve it, I am just trying to figure out how we as a community can give an honest vote.

It doesn't affect me either way. I was shocked as all you were. It doesn't bother me one way or the other if I "win" or not. I don't help out to get recognition from the community. I do what I can when I can. Makes me feel great as a person, whether recognized or not.
But I agree with both you SFC Gilley and SSG Goicoechea. The public does need to know what we all have done. Must be a way that it can be documented by the RP staff and when nominations are made, they can provide documentation to what they have done for the community so we are all informed and make the right decision.
