On the one hand, I feel somewhat out of control now that I'm no longer "out and about" earning an income and interacting with people the way I used to (as a consultant, I was out and about and meeting people a lot). On the other hand, I have vastly more time to write and blog and talk at length with people about the important things: Kids, grandkids, my community and nation, without have trivial pursuits such as work get int the way. So, I guess my answer is that my biggest concern is largely balanced by the new life that created it

MAJ Ken Landgren: You have come this far to be a Major. I have full faith in you Major. Your long term goals will be attainable. Think positively Major. That will help a lot. Also, if you are religious, pray. (Prayers really do work; Sir.)

Are you asking people who are fully retired, or retirees of working age such as myself?

Regardless, like other retirees have stated my main concern is erosion of the benefits I earned for myself and my family after 20 years of sacrifice.
