Rejuvenate the Standards of the Update (AR 670-1)

Since the recent
publish of the updated AR 670-1, service members has voice their opinion on this topic. Some service members says the Army is using this (updated AR
670-1) event to assist in the force reduction of Soldiers. Some Soldiers
will understand the Army is reinforcing the Standards from 15 years ago. A Service member,
who has been in service for 13 years and over, can relate to this administrative
change from G1. I remember my Platoon sergeant famous words of wisdom (Before
you can and exceed the standards, master the basics first!)  This is what US. Army is doing! Bringing back
the basic and enforcing it. If you are a Noncommissioned Officer, there should
be now opinion of why the Army is making changes. Real Noncommissioned Officers,
(over come, adapt, drives on and lead by example) no matter what the situation
is, Sergeant’s just looks for a deposit every 1st and 15th
of the month. We are Noncommissioned Officers with an inherited duties and responsibility
from our NCO history that can be found in the FM 7.22-7 the Noncommissioned
Officers Guide.
