Hi, I have a quick question about SF 507. All of medpro has to be green to get SF 507? My dental is amber since March but the dental clinic has been postponed all treatments until COVID conditions stabilize. Any advice? Please?

The dentist doesn't HAVE TO BE military.
Take your DD2813 to a civilian dentist, get a check up and cleaning, poof you are green, and get the dentist to sign the DD2813. Turn it in and get it updated in MEDPROS, because it wont be green for long.
When I did mine, I went to a USAF dentist. Told him what was what, and just straight up signed it and put his stamp on the bottom. POOF magic. Done.
I have NEVER been green in MEDPROS for dental, only amber.

You should still be able to get an appointment. We have had our soldiers still get appointments to go green. They may require a different format but they cannot shut down all dental facilities. I would try to speak with your battalion MEDO or brigade surgeon. They should be able to give you advice.

Hi Sgt,
Have you coordinated this with your OCS recruiter? Really, the recruiter should help you navigate these type of situations. Dental cannot be completely shut down?? Is it? I would verify that first.

I am prior service. There’s no recruiter for me. Also dental only take care of red. They don’t do anything for amber.
