Prior service looking to reenlist. My prior service was in the army branch? Looking to get back in, in the cyber security field? I finish the semester of school I'm taking in a month in a half?
Any advice for getting the MOS I want? I did have a really high asvab when I originally joined?

I suggest that you go to the Army Recruiting station and take the station commander out for coffee and seek guidance. No guarantee here but you’d know a lot more than what you know now.
Are you in the IRR or are you completely discharged? That too will make a difference too. If you are in the IRR and your MOS is required guess what. You “get what you got”. If out and your line scores do not meet minimum requirements you will get whatever is available and the guidance counselor would tell you what that is. That is why you need to meet with the Station Commander and not the recruiter who’s job would be just to get you to the Meps Guidance Counselor for a potential position.
Without knowing more about your situation that’s all I can recommend.
Hooah???

LTC Charles T Dalbec, I'm out of the IRR. My scores were really high when I got in. I've been completely out of the military since 2016. Sounds like a good idea of bringing the commander for coffee may have to if will get what i want.

So you completed your eight year
Military Service Obligation and was discharged and you have your discharge certificate. Follow my guidance and let me know after you meet with the Station Commander. Ok!!
