Anyone else experiencing problems with acquiring prescriptions for Epinephrine (EpiPens) from Express Scripts? I need them for severe allergy to bee stings. They claim the EpiPens are not available on the market. I find this rather odd, given that they are available at King Soopers, Safeway and other pharmacies at 4X the cost. It is my belief that Express Scripts is deliberately not acquiring them due to their high cost, thus failing to live up to their contract with the DOD. Furthermore, this may also be occurring under the Medicare contract as well. Any lawyer out there want me as an initial client against Express Scripts in a class-action suit for contracting fraud and violation of veterans and the elderly’s civil rights?

For me, it is Tri-Care but my question includes anyone who receives medications from Express Scripts. I think their screwing every patient needing EpiPens.

There has been a shortage of EpiPens, and the ones that are available have been granted an extension in expiration dates. If your local retail pharmacy has them available you can just go there though and use your active duty $0 copay.
