The OPM announced that there was another massive hack into the system on 07/09/2015. 21.5 million records this time, in addition to the 4.2 million from the last attack.

Are we seeing the beginning of a cyber war? These attacks are still being privately linked to China, but no one will publicly come forward & say as such.

I hear the upgraded security is that they have posted armed sentries around the servers. That'll keep them pesky hackers out!

this, and places like it house gold mines of databases for our enemies, I know all too well that NOTHING is unhack-able, but more can and should be done. I would like to see a large force of civ/mil and commercial(gov contractors) companies that work together to respond to and monitor for these type of things constantly. I beveled at one time that that was the idea behind USCYBERCOM. but more than that, every organization needs to have cyber defensive oversight from knowledgeable personnel that are not part of the organization but are still vested in some way such as parent command or such.
