I'm trying to find a good online program, and researching different schools. Just hoping for some advice from other people. I'm not entirely sure what I want to study yet, but looking more at international relations type degrees.

Shaw, first applause to you for continuing your education. It's not only a good thing to it for personal reasons, but professional as well. An education will set you apart from your peers. There are many creditable online schools out there; Strayer University, University of Maryland, the list goes on. Two great accredited schools who cater specifically to the military is University of Phoenix and Trident University International (both mine) Your best option though is to talk to an education counselor at your local installation education office. They can get you started in the right direction. Remember, whatever school you choose, be sure it's "accredited"or your wasting your time. Good luck and Army Strong!

Thank you MSG. I've looked a little bit into Strayer, but their website was acting up when I tried. I'll have to look some more into it.

Check with American University in DC. They may have distance learning programs that fits what you are looking for.

I started my first steps towards continuing my education in 2012, while deployed. While it is only an Associates', it is a degree. And for me, that will be quite an accomplishment. I am now just 4 classes away from completion. Due to Tuition Assistance caps and time constraints, I think I have made quite a bit of progress. My college of choice was American Military University. I have no complaints and have managed to keep my GPA at a decent level. With the deployments and family issues that come up. AMU was always willing to work with me to ensure I got the assistance I needed. If you are like me and have a busy, demanding life, with both work and home life, I would recommend AMU. They have a lot of programs to offer.
