Sir, I personally think that within 30 days or so is sufficient. My worst experience has been a string of 1380s that took seven months to be paid. All UAs are not created equal.

That's a good question, sir. I was in a TDS unit where we had no BA and used 1380's exclusively. We submitted our 1380's at the end of the month and typically got paid around the third week of the next month. Not to gripe but for some reason my 1380's got lost/overlooked more often than others. So hunting down pay was a regular function for me. Now that I am coming off a mob and going to a non TDS LOD, I will be drilling for the first time in my JAG career. Hoping that there aren't similar pay issues and from what I have been told, there won't be.

Sir, when I was a TPU I enjoyed getting paid within 2 weeks of performing drill or a 1380 for RMA, RST, or whatever I was getting paid as. With the rotation of pay cycles (that I now know as an AGR) it should be easy enough to ensure that the pay is inputted as long as it is submitted for payment. That is the major issue that I see many people have is the prior approval or submitting the paperwork to the right person for payment.
