My wife was was medically discharged from the Army after being diagnosed with "anxiety" in 2012. Can she join the Navy if she's been cleared?

My wife was honorably discharged with Reentry Code 3 & Separation Code JFW (meaning she needs a waiver). Long story short: her ex-husband was abusing her and instead of talking to a Chaplain she spoke with a family advocate who recommended her discharge - against my wife's will. She wants to enlist in the Navy, and has since been medically cleared. What are the chances she can reenlist?

Wishing Her Luck. She wants to come back after that experience, She's a Fighter and I think we would want her back.

ENS (Join to see) - Does she draw any kind of check from being medically discharged and second has she been cleared by DOD or a civilian Doctor?

ENS (Join to see) - My last recollection was that the Army was the last service with Vets in its ranks. That was over a decade ago.

SFC Jeff Couch no, she didn't. She actually didn't know she was eligible. And yes, she's been cleared by both a civilian and DoD Doctor and Psychiatrist. However, according to the recruiter, a MEPS O3 or above must clear her.

Then just from my perspective even though she has been cleared the O3 at MEPS might still consider her a liability because of her situation if she were ever deployed but I personally don't think he would be that drastic in his decision but I hope you and her the best of luck and truly hopes it works out for you guys

We definitely will, Capt Tom Brown! We went to the recruiters today, but the information on the website was incorrect; they are not open on weekends.

ENS (Join to see) - It seems to always be Friday when a person wants to get something done and ends up waiting the weekend. Only saving grace is , it's not a long weekend.
