Another "howcome" for the seniors out there. The Soldiers are the only uniformed service members on probably the planet who are not permitted to roll up our sleeves under any circumstance even when doing so would make the most sense. If Military appearance or professionalism are the reasons for this does that mean our Marines, Sailors, Airmen, Coasties and allied Troops are lacking these qualities?

Rolled Sleeves in the Army

Word has recently come out that the Army is authorizing the rolling of the ACU sleeve now, with certain exceptions. What are the thoughts of the rolled sleeve in the ACU? Furthermore, what are the thoughts exempting those with sleeve or below the elbow tattoos that have already been grandfathered in, being restricted from being able to roll their sleeves?
