Moron or a brilliant plot by gungrabbers to create more restrictions and gun laws? Or Both?

He was carrying an AR-15 for safety? Safety from what? Bears? He couldn't feel just as safe with a pistol? No one would have known if he carried concealed, and if he didn't and felt it necessary to open carry a pistol, I don't know that it would have caused such a scene. But the AR was just excessive to prove a point. He's hurting the cause by trying to make a statement.

My question is, "why are you stupid enough to carry in an airport?!" There are just some places that you should know not to carry due to sensitivity unless you are authorized to carry there. Sheesh!
