A former NBA player said that the Michael Jordan-era Chicago Bulls would easily handle today's Miami Heat. What do you think and why?

Lebron who?.......With grace and class Jordan without a doubt. All about one team and the team not about money or himself. Only reason he did not stay with the Bulls at the end is because he was already with the other team.

Concur 100% CPT Brian Maurelli! Jordan was a team player. You would never have seen him hold a 30 minute commercial on TV to announce his decision to go to the Bulls, nor would you see Jordan promise Chicago "not one, not two, not three, ........"
Additionally, the whole team was a legacy run by legend Phil Jackson. You had Scottie Pippen, BJ Armstrong, Steve Kerr, Dennis Rodman.....and they all worked together. Lastly, Jordan has class and maturity....oh, and 6 rings with the same team.

I agree. The MJ Bulls had more overall talent throughout the line-up. I'm a HEAT fan, by the way.

I can think of 6 reasons why Jordan has, and always will overshadow that Heat player that has moved home to Cleveland.

MSG(P) Michael Warrick - now that the Warriors have done this, I still think the Jordan Era bulls would dominate any team in todays NBA. There has also been a lot of rule changes between then and now and that would have to be taken into account. This is one of the debatable things depending on which rules from which time frame are being used.

SFC (Join to see) - Very true. Rules protect the shooters, as is said often. During and before the 90's, light touches were deemed regular contact. Today, tickling is a foul.

If playing NBA Jam - 3 on 3 format - I'd take the Heat. But in real basketball, my vote is on the Bulls for best team. But in the debate of individual greatness, I'd argue both Jordan and James are both epically great. Bill Simmons breaks it down pretty well in this article

Why LeBron James — unparalleled NBA genius, heir to Michael (and Larry and Magic) — went home.
