That might make a nice alternative to combat gauze, but the tourniquet will still be the gold standard for hasty hemorrhage control.

I've read about the syringe with foam tablets per say. But I haven't read about the vita gel. I agree Tourniquets will always be held up as the most vital for years to come. However I believe it will come down to how much, how fast, and how long it can keep the wound sealed during the patient transport. So I agree with possibility of replacing combat gauze, maybe. But overall great topic, looking forward to it if they start to implement it after more test.

Very cool! I like the fact that in the video, when asked what is the practical application of his product, and first thing he talks about is Soldiers on the battlefield. It would be nice to have this gel down to the lowest level, parents could have this for kids, themselves or pets.
