How are the barracks, food, and things to do for someone going to JRTC for maintenance support?

My unit is headed to North Fort Johnson next week for maintenance support. Supposedly want be going to the box. Anyone been recently?..if so, how was the barracks,food,things to do, etc? I know there's a pizza hut and shoppette and that's about it

Well, I'm sure you had a Leader Recon element go forth to see what is available. Or even a White Cell that will be on ground prior to your arrival. Surely they can/could provide intel.

Food depends on the unit support; all RTU and support to rotations live in huge tents/warehouse style barracks; there are limited smaller ones, but during the training days you are locked on North Fort. I just left three months ago after two years as an OCT
