I am pretty sure at least a few have made it here. When they strike it will be a cowardly act such as a mall shooting or a large event etc. It will happen here in the near future. The best way to have avoided it would have been to stay on the offensive where they are. They would struggle launching any offensive action if they were on the defensive non stop. We (the president)have taken the pressure of them. There will be a price to pay for that.

I would expect rather stiff resistance, especially after NG units were mobilized and civilian militias self-organized, but I fear that something very very bad would have to happen before we as a nation take threats to our national and personal safety seriously.
I mean, 9/11 wasn't bad enough?

Im starting to question the validity of "threats". From the point that Terrorists often do not publically say a word about their activities BEFORE they do things, they just do them, and sometimes will then claim credit for it AFTER the fact.
9/11 wasn't bad enough...well:
A) it was too long ago, and people need constant reminders to remain vigilant.
B) there are still some folks who think that was an inside job.
C) some people are just living in the bubble of "It can't happen to me" and it is so severe you cannot shake them out of their own cognitive dissonance.

This is the first time I have ever seen the term "cognitive dissonance" in a military-themed setting, but it fits so well.

It wasn't too long ago that a man was captured on video holding a sign that read ISIS is here. If they weren't then, then they have had plenty of time to cross the open border with Mexico. Actually, this should come of no surprise.

No one should be surprised. If you are you might be in the wrong business. The only real question is what are you going to do about it?

What measures are you taking in reaction to the recent ISIL threats, and the FBI bulletin (FOUO)? http://abcnews.go.com/International/isis-threat-home-fbi-warns-us-military-social/story?id=27270662 Things to consider: 1. Be informed: Read news, read the FBI Bulletin (if you look for it on official sites you can find it). 2. Remember what you learned on Deployment: head on a swivel, external focus, treat public places like you did in country:...

Cells? Doubtful. Sympathizers? I am certain of it. There is a definitive difference between the two. That said, the "lone wolfs" are the most difficult to uncover before they strike.

I suspect they are telling us something we already know. Quite honestly, they don't scare me one damn bit! It's my country, come and take it, I dare ya!

No doubt there are people operating in the states, that should always be expected. Do your part, stay low key and eyes open.

The whole point of terror is to strike fear. I'm not really scared of ISIS because I'm not going live a life of fear. Hell, here on the homeland we have car accidents, planes crashing on the highway, stabbings, muggings, carjackings... So what now, I'm supposed to be weary of these jokers every damn day? You know what, if they want the entire military might of the United States Armed Forces, I say we give them their damn wish, because its going to take a bit more than diplomacy to get the job done. But I see why we are going the route we are... Because the previous one used was based on fallacies, and we have to adjust course.
Bottom line, I refuse to live a life of fear because of these asshats.

I say don't make threats. I'm all about action. I'm like well trained athlete I don't listen to the hype. Let's meet on the battle field to settle the score.
