I was wondering if ET A school request for the Coast guard is fast. The reason I am asking is I cannot go to boot camp until this is approved. Also I am prior service Navy going into CG. I know I have asked a similar question but I had left some details out and wanted to see if this info makes a difference on the timeline. My recruiter submitted my request on the 9th of August. If this info makes a difference when should I receive an answer? My recruiter is hoping to get me into boot camp on the 13th of September.

If you are prior service, boot camp is s lot shorter and not even really boot camp. The program is called pit stop, and is more of a school than not camp teaching about the Coast Guard. As for ET a school, I think it's still critical, but I think it's always critical, there has been a reenlistment bonus for a while now.
