Notre Dame blows out UT and now GT, is it time for them to play OSU or Bama yet?

First off, they played Alabama. Remember how that worked out? It was ugly. The two teams didn't belong on the same field. As a man who can't stand Alabama, I wasn't very pleased to see them gifted a championship so easily.

Second, the opposite is true. What should happen is that all of the major conferences should refuse to play Notre Dame unless and until they join a conference. If the ACC wants to keep enabling Notre Dame, then so be it. Notre Dame can play those weak teams, all of the service academies, and Brigham Young. And if that schedule never rises to playoff consideration, then that's called reaping what we sow. Notre Dame isn't special. The sooner the major conferences stop treating them like they are, the sooner they'll stop acting like it.

I think in the best interest of some sort of self respect. ND needs to stay right where they are at, and not venture out into the "playground".

I honestly don't think any team could beat OSU yet. I haven't seen anybody do anything special yet. Notre Dame already found out what its like when you play with the big boys. I dont think they deserve a shot until the join a conference where they play decent teams.

Who's OSU really been challenged by? Cmon now. Look at their schedule....

We're only in week 3, but from what little I've seen so far:
LSU
Ole Miss
GA

Jus those 3 there I feel would knock OSU down a notch or 2.

I thought the same thing last year SFC. Then OSU ran through Bama. And then through my ducks. OSU is a damn good team.
