IS Five months enough time to get into shape for BMT?

I’m writing this to find out is it enough time to train my push-ups faster and sit ups faster? Also is a minute enough time to max out reps for push ups and sit ups on the test?

5 months is plenty of time to get in shape for it. And yes, one minute is enough time to max them out. The key, is form. Right now, I would recommend you focus on the proper form. You can crank out 200 push ups, but if they are not done correctly, the scorer will not count them. Same with sit ups.
