Cpl Jaime Knutson One of my uncles served in WWII with the Army. At his funeral last year, we had three soldiers performing the military funeral honors. Here is information that will provide some insight:

There's another ground called Bugles Across America that provides live buglers for military funerals. I worked at MCRD San Diego G-3 for a time and our Ceremonial Platoon found no shortage of military funerals to attend.

SGT. Ted. I have been to several military funerals. The last time i went to one with more than 2 or 3 military has been about 4 or 5 years ago. I know it probably a strain on resources but these military funerals are very important to some people. I want one and i am getting to that age where you just don't know. During one two Army Rangers provided the services. The wind was blowing bad so they stayed to refold the flag. In the south we always eat after services and we invited them to stay. They stayed and we talked and got to know two great Army Rangers. We as a country have let our vets down to much, we need to keep our guard up.

MSgt John McGowan - Great response John! I also want a military funeral and to be buried in a National Cemetery. Last week, I went to the library and printed out information about the National Cemetery Administration, so I can learn how it works.
