I am a bit lost here. It says you are in the 10th MTN but you are asking about AGR recruiting. I worked in Recruiting for the Guard and was offered AGR recruiting but went to OCS instead. I am familiar with the National Guard. But are you leaving the Regular Army and then plan on going to AGR recruiting?

SPC Dominque Lee - Ok, now it makes more sense. First you need to look at the that states NG website. They usually have a career tab or section with their AGR postings. In Recruiting they always have openings posted even if they don't have any. A lot of times though you will have to be in that state's National Guard already. You will have to do a packet and most of those papers will have to come from you guard unit. Usually they don't hiring outside of their state or straight off regular army. It is hard to recruit for the guard when you were never in the guard. It is the same way if you could imagine a Guard recruiter trying to recruit for the regular Army.

That is not the case at all. In the Guard they will only place you where there is an opening. They don't PCS recruiters often. If there is an opening they will recruit for that position at that location.

This is the link to the FAQ on the HRC web site on becoming an AGR Recruiter. They answer some questions on there about applying directly from Active Duty.
