If you have more than 1 MOS, what is the procedure to make your secondary MOS as your primary?

I have a Soldier who found a unit he would like to transfer to. On this unit, he will be functioning using his secondary MOS. How can he switch and declare his secondary MOS as his primary?

His new S-1 or if there is an RPAC that supports them can submit a 4187 requesting a change of primary MOS. They have a checklist for what documents need to be submitted, then orders will be cut changing the secondary back to primary.

The new USAR PAG will have the checklist that shows everything the SM will need to reclass. His unit administrator should have access to HRPAS to initiate the change. All you really need is a 4187 and a few supporting documents to be submitted.
