I received a good NCOER, but my successive assignments are SGL, and PSG. Will this hurt me with my last NCOER having 1SG as successive?

No, it should not. What is the senior rater narrative say, that is what makes you or brake you. Successive assignment is a guide to help branch assign you to the best assignment.

They will take the change in consideration at boards, he does say Promote, the continue is just good sense, since I assume you were filling in as 1SG.

I did fill in as 1sg Temporarily at times, but was not the billeted 1SG. I have another NCOER due before I am eligible for the board, but I know it doesn't take much to make or break you like said above. Thank you for the replies guys

SFC (Join to see) - that is one of the biggest complaints from board members. Narrative should be clear and concise. Many NCOERS are poorly written, this makes it difficult for the board to select the best qualified. You must be involved in the NCOER process. Also, make sure you have a ranking, a good, strong rating is key for selection.

I feel like he is all over the place with the Narrative. Says to promote, but also says stay as a PSG. Then rates me 2nd overall out of the PSG's. Unfortunately he isn't the easiest of guys to discuss this with into changing his mind, but I am definitely willing to try my best to be involved. This is my career at hand.
