How can I get into counterintelligence? I'm only 20 but that's the field I want to be in the most. Other than that, I'd be airborne infantry like I mentioned in my last post. What Mos would I need to get in order to get into CI? My Asvab scores were not amazing but a little above average.

(Join to see) Below are the requirements. You have to be at least 21 years old and already a soldier with at least the rank of E-4.

Counterintelligence Agent (35L)
The Counter Intelligence (CI) Agent conducts investigations to detect and counter terrorist threats. The agent identifies and counters activities of any foreign adversary that poses a threat to Army forces.

I would recommend having counter intelligence as your first option, and if all else fails you could fall back on airborne infantry. With that said, CI has a lot of government and civilian careers available especially if you spend a lot of time in military counter intelligence. With that said, almost every federal agency that deals with counter intelligence requires a college degree. So if your goal is CIA or FBI then consider or try to get a degree, that will make you competitive for jobs especially if that degree is in a language. But to your question CI would be a good bet.

You do not have to be any particular MOS to go CI. As of now, we are allowing initial entry Soldiers as well, so talk to your recruiter.
