I live near K-town, I never got orders and/or clearing papers to move. I PCS in March next year. How far can I legally commute?

I'm in a ADA unit and yes going back to the states.

If you are going back to CONUS, then you will receive PCS orders approx 120-90 prior to your DEROS date. If I understand your question, you are asking how far you can live from your next duty station in CONUS. The top of my head answer is less than 150 miles. Your BAH will be based on your duty station regardless of where you actually reside. I don't think your chain of command would be comfortable with you driving 2hrs or more each day back and forth to work.
