I just switched from the Army reserve to the Air Force reserve after 16 years of service. I want to hear other experiences individuals have

I went from active-duty Air Force (1997-2002) to Air National Guard (2006-2009) to Army Reserve (2009-present). I must admit, I got a few weird looks from the MEPS personnel when they realized I was leaving an Air Force component for an Army one. I switched to pursue a commission, which I had competed for multiple times while in the Air National Guard, but had come up short. Personally, I really like the Army Reserve...there are a few differences but ultimately, it is the people you are around that make for good (or bad) experiences.
