I heard today that on post housing isn't suppose to take all your BAH but many people are unaware of this?? Any Truth???

Rules change constantly but when I was in, your BAH was your rent money so yes effectively you lost your BAH when you moved into base housing.

SPC (Join to see) In my previous duty station, they had older houses that they only charged part of your BAH, but if you live in the newer houses like me, they took it all to include your increase if it happened. You need to ask either the management company or the military housing office in your installation.
