I am looking to go from AC to RC into the SEABEEs Reserves. What would a normal deployment rotation timeline entail?

I am looking for information on how often Reserve SEABEEs would deploy, length of time of deployment, and other options and sources of information that i can study on.

Hopefully this site answers most of your questions. I just came off a 6 month deployment in Afghanistan. Essentially, all Seabee rates are all Builders. But this link is a starting point on what to expect on a IA deployment as a Navy Reservist:

That is very helpful information, thank you. A follow up question would be then is how often can one be selected from reserves to fill a billet and be deployed vice volunteering to fill a billet?

PO1 (Join to see) I would talk to your unit career counselor and check when the rotations are. You can volunteer as much as you like (it varies) But I would definitely link up with a career counselor for your reserve unit and get all the fine details.
