Since I'm taking your rank as to you haven't been in the military for that long, The military does not recognize someone being engaged. You are either Single, Married, or Divorced. There are no benefits recognized by the military as an engaged person.
I don't know how to tag people here but SSG Rountree gave a perfect response to someone earlier who asked this question
"The reserves here in Europe doesn't grant you a status in Germany unless she come over on tour of duty on active status for a year or AGR. If she is regular TPU and was to follow you on her own, she would have to find a unit hopefully prior to coming, then find a job either with the Americans on base or German economy, plus find a place to live. As mentioned above, being a regular TPU Soldier doesn't grant you a status, she would be on tourist status. She will have a 90 day window starting from the time the passport get stamped at airport to find a job to be in Germany legally."

SPC (Join to see) - Since he is already in Germany and if he is in Graf would be easy for him to stop by a unit there and speak to an AGR person or Retention ect. They would be able to give him all the info he needs and if there are slots available which in a support command I'm sure there is just might not be for your mos. Just keep in mind if you received any bonus on this contract you are on if you haven't fulfilled it and other things I would suggest you speak to a retention NCO ect.

SPC (Join to see) Ok that's cool, but still need to be on his orders before any move is made..... He will be the sponsor for you...... As I mentioned in another post, the reserves in Germany don't grant you a status if you come without being on his orders.......

Recommend you contact an In-Service Retention NCO or Contact HRC Personnel Management Office - Ft Knox,KY. Google and you’ll get POC info

Good morning PFC Hanson, how are you doing today? I don't recall seeing an engineer company in the reserves here in Germany...... They may have a small detachment, but most units are CA, HR, medics, Logistics....... Since phone numbers and emails constantly change, you might want to Google 7th MSC in Germany to find contacts to retention or have the recruiter there make a phone call or email for you....... The worst case is that you may have to reclass to different MOS...
