I am a newly promoted SGT and I am wanting to volunteer for recruiter. Is there a wait time before I can apply?

I do not have that answer but, I will say that as a newly promoted NCO you should first become an expert at that grade before seeking duties (however important they may be) outside of your MOS. You must first become a leader and learn to take care of your Soldiers before you can guide new recruits and advise them on what the Army is all about. Good luck and thank you for your service.

I would wait until you at least get your team leader time knocked out if not until you get promoted to SSG before you start looking at knocking out your broadening assignment. If it's for any reason other than getting your broadening assignment complete trust me the grass is not always greener on the other side.
