With DTMS, you simply have to schedule an event on the calendar.
Once it is created, go to the TASK tab and search for the task you want.
After that is complete, go to the ROSTER tab and select the element or individual soldiers you want on the roster. After this just export it to whatever program you like, I prefer PDF's, then print.
Once training is complete, scan the roster to yourself, save it to your computer, go back to that event and select the FILE tab to upload the roster to that event.
Then select TASK COMPETION tab (far right) and refer to your sign in roster. Select the soldiers who attended, then select the task on the same page and hit complete.
Once you have done this, everyone will have credit via DTMS.

once an event is schedule , you complete the training (make sure you create a digital version of a signin roster in dtms) , then go to that event , click on the little pencil icon DETAILS , click on the FILES tab and upload scanned/paper copy of the sign in roster.

DTMS has something for all of that. Without it in front of my face, I’d be hard pressed to walk you through it. There is a way to crest a roster and select who you want on it.But the upload part is going back to the created roster click select all and then just uncheck who wasn’t there. Presto chango- it’s all done.
